Front-mounted roller shutters
Front-mounted shutters are installed outside and are suitable even for completed buildings. The shutter box remains visible above the window and can be integrated harmoniously with the façade and window system.
Top-mounted roller shutters
Top-mounted systems are integrated with the window, with the box positioned above the frame. They should be planned during the design stage or before replacing the windows.
The aluminium slats are filled with polyurethane foam for rigidity and improved thermal and acoustic insulation. Shutters are available in solid colours or wood-effect finishes to match the façade, windows and doors.
Manual or automated operation

Cord operation is frequently used for front-mounted shutters and provides simple, practical control.
Belt or crank operation
Belt or crank operation is available depending on shutter type and size, providing a robust and easy-to-use manual option.
Electric operation
Electric operation allows control by wall switch or remote. A nearby power supply is required, so electrical routes should be planned before installation during construction or renovation.
Integrated insect screen
Roller shutters can include an integrated retractable insect screen, a practical solution because both systems share the same installation area. For frequently used doors, a separately fitted pleated screen may provide greater convenience and durability.
Thermal comfort and solar protection
Installed outside the insulating glass, roller shutters block much of the solar radiation before it heats the glazing. This reduces heat build-up and helps maintain a more comfortable indoor temperature, especially in summer. When lowered, they also provide privacy, additional weather protection and effective shading.
